Welcome to Sellit.pt, a classified ads platform operated by Bozco s.r.o., Company ID: 08179034, Municipal Court file ID: C 314297 (later referred to as “we”, “us”, “our”, “website” or “platform”).

Sellit.pt offers a digital marketplace for users “you” to post classified ads for personal items, goods and services and to engage in transactions with other users. These Terms govern your use of Sellit.pt and the services provided.

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Sellit.pt, creating an account or posting any ad, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy policy, and any additional terms applicable to certain attributes of the platform, all of which are incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

Services provided

Sellit.pt enables users to:

• Post classified ads for personal items, goods and services;
• Promote ads to appear higher in search results;
• Browse and respond to other users’ ads;
• Communicate with other users about ads.

Sellit.pt does not:

• Participate in or mediate any transaction between buyers and sellers;
• Handle or process payments;
• Provide escrow, buyer protection, or seller certification;
• Handle shipping or delivery of goods;
• Guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of advertised items or listings.

All transactions are conducted directly between users at their own risk.

User eigibility and responsibilities

• You must be at least 18 years of age to use Sellit.pt;
• You agree to post only accurate, lawful, and non-misleading ads;
• You are responsible for all activity under your account and for maintaining account security;
• You agree not to use Sellit.pt for any unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or unauthorised purpose;
• You agree not to upload or distribute any content containing viruses, malicious code, or automated data collection tools (“scrapers”, “spiders”, etc.).

Ad duration and expiry

Each ad is automatically paused one year after the date it was last modified. Sellit.pt cannot be liable for not displaying an ad or for completeness of its content.

You may manually pause, edit, or delete your ad at any time via your account.

Promoted ads

Promoted ads are moved to the top of search results for a selected period to increase visibility. If other users promote their ads later, those may appear above yours depending on promotion time and algorithmic ranking.

Promotion periods and fees are clearly displayed before purchase.

Payments and refunds

Posting standard ads is free (Agency integrations via API may be subject to separate terms).

Once an ad promotion has been purchased and activated, the promotion fee is non-refundable.

By confirming a promotion, you acknowledge that the service begins immediately and therefore you waive the statutory right of withdrawal under EU consumer law for digital services.

Content ownership and acceptable use

You retain ownership of all content you post on Sellit.pt. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, and display that content for the operation, promotion, and improvement of the platform. You agree not to post any content that:

• infringes the intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights of others;
• is defamatory, obscene, hateful, or otherwise objectionable;
• promotes discrimination, violence, or illegal activity;
• includes personal data of third parties without their consent.

Ads related to sexual, pornographic, or illegal content are strictly prohibited and may be removed without notice.

Prohibited items and activities

Items and services that are illegal under applicable law (e.g., weapons, counterfeit goods, controlled substances, stolen items, or human/animal trafficking) are prohibited.

We reserve the right to remove listings or suspend accounts violating these rules.

User disputes

Sellit.pt does not handle payments or mediate transactions. All disputes must be resolved directly between buyer and seller.

In serious cases involving suspected fraud, illegal activity, or abuse, Sellit.pt may cooperate with competent law-enforcement authorities and provide relevant information as legally required.

Limitation of liability

Transactions between users occur entirely at their own risk. Sellit.pt and Bozco s.r.o. shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages resulting from use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses.

We do not warrant that the website will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or that any defects will be corrected.

Intellectual property

All trademarks, logos, software, and design elements displayed on Sellit.pt (except user-submitted content) are the property of Bozco s.r.o. or its licensors.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce any part of the platform without prior written consent.

Termination and suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, remove content, or restrict access to our services at our discretion if you breach these Terms, misuse the platform, or if required by law. Upon termination, all licences granted under these Terms will cease.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bozco s.r.o., its affiliates, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the platform.

Governing law and jurisdiction

hese Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Prague, Czech Republic.

Amendments

We may update or modify these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
